ABOUT ISHIBUTAI 100

Ishibutai 100 is a trail running race set against the history and mountain terrain of Asuka, Nara. The start and finish are at "Asuka Kaze Butai". Choose the distance that suits you, and make your way through Asuka in winter on your own feet.

Because it is a loop course, the same climbs and descents show a different face depending on the time of day and your fatigue. From the one-lap 25K, to the 100K through the night, to the 120K where you find your own way. The longer the distance, the more gear, nutrition, judgment and mental control matter, in addition to running ability.

Coming back on your own feet, all the way to the end. The preparation for that is part of Ishibutai 100, too.
