A 200 km navigation race built to international standards.
The "GT (Great Trip)" category — a grand journey through the real Kyoto.
KYOTO GREAT ROUND (KGR) is a long-trail race series that links the ridgelines of
Higashiyama, Kitayama and Nishiyama, based on the Kyoto Isshu Trail — the trail that circles the city of Kyoto.
Set in the quiet days at the end of the year, the races are non-marked and self-navigated.
We welcome self-reliant long-trail runners who are ready for the challenge.
Across seven categories from 10K to 200K, we hope you will feel the landscape and history of Kyoto,
and the bonds with fellow runners along the way.
FOR INTERNATIONAL RUNNERS
Runners from outside Japan are welcome. Here is what you should know before entering.
